Darning + Patching Kit
We found these darning kits on a trip to Asheville, NC. They're made by Deanna Lynch, a xtile designer and hand weaver who makes beautiful textiles from natural fibers ke wool, hemp, linen, and cotton
Included in each kit e supplies for darning & patching, sential r anyone looking to extend the longevity of their clothing and household textiles. Everything is contained in a generously sized, zippered cotton pouch.
Contents include
roughly half a dozen piece of bric of various weights, colors, materials, and size
lengths of natural fiber yarn for darning or decorating
sewing thread in a neutral color for patching
one mini embroidery hoop, useful for small patches while mending or for working on small areas of an embroidery project
